Virender Sehwag has broken Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI record !

Virender  Sehwag  (viru ) is one of the leading batsman  in the Indian cricket team. He is an aggressive right – handed  opening batsman and an occasional  right-arm off-spin bowler. His performance led India to 418 for 5, their highest ODI total and sealed victory in the five match  series against  West Indies on December 08,2011.
It was an  innings characteristic of Sehwag’s approach to batting. He  was playing very well with no tension. He hit his second balls for four and simply did not stop. He went to 50 off 41 balls, to 100 off 69 balls, to 150 off 112 balls, and past 200 off 140 balls and 219 off 149 balls. His  219 had 25 boundaries and seven sixes as he smashed the West Indian bowlers all over the park to help India post  418 for 5 in 50 overs.
Virender  Sehwag   became only the 2nd batsman in history to  score a double century in a one- day  international following Sachin Tendulkar, who made 200 against South Africa in Gwailor last year. Now Virender  Sehwag   is the highest ODI run scorer in the Cricket World.

Childhood of the little master

The little master Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973 in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, India. He began his cricketing career under his coach Ramakant in Shradashram Vidyamandir High School, Mumbai.
During his school life he starts to train as a fast bowler. But he is very interested to establish himself as a batsman. As a young Tendulkar would practice for hours at the net and was driven hard by his coach Ramakant.
In his school life, his extra ordinary batting skills got noticed by the sports circuit. Then people felt that he would soon become one of the greats in cricket world.
In 1988 season, he scored a century in every inning that he played. And in 1988 the inter school matches he had an unbroken 664 run partnership with his friend and team mate Vinod Kambli.
When he was 14 years old, a great Indian batsman of that time Sunil Gavaskar gave him a pair of his own light pads. This touching gesture greatly encouraged the budding cricketer, who 20 years later broke Gavaskar’s  world record of 34 Test Centuries.
